It has been three (3) years since BOL first sponsored the Gabane Community Home
Based Care Centre. This year on the 27th of November 2019, BOL was invited to grace their graduation ceremony held under the theme; “involvement of all to raise a secure, healthy and developed child for a brighter future”.
BOL was represented by the Head of Stakeholder Relations, Matida Mmipi as a guest speaker. Ms. Mmipi urged the parents to allow the pupils an opportunity to explore different avenues so they can find their capabilities and talent. She pointed out that kids are gifted differently and it is only prudent that we realize that as parents to harness their strong capabilities and growth.
On the 1st of December 2016, BOL pledged a total amount of ten thousand pula only to help construct a storeroom. The storeroom is not yet complete, due to a lack of fuds. This year, BOL pledged a further two thousand and five hundred pula to complete the building and cater for the centre’s other needs.
