Fuel takers awaiting fuel loading and offloading cause congestion in the area surrounding the depots. This has the potential to cause hazards if not managed appropriately.
To address this, BOL constructed the Gaborone Truck Staging Centre not only to alleviate congestion around the depot but also to ensure that the depot area’s safety, security, and environmental aspects are effectively managed. The Gaborone Truck Staging Facility was officially launched in September 2020.
